Our Blackness - 2019

This short Documentary was made in Flora’s final year of high school for the Black History Month Assembly. The film is composed of student testimonies speaking truth about what it is like growing up as a Black woman in todays world, and what it means to be Black from a young woman’s perspective. This film is inspired by a film Flora made the previous year entitled “The Colour Of Your Skin”, which can be found on her YouTube Channel, sampling a poem by Princess Nokia
